The Opportunity

As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the execution and lifecycle management of the brand, ensuring its successful positioning and market impact. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams at local and global level. You will translate the strategic direction set by the Commercial Co-Lead into effective operational plans, maximizing the brand’s performance and alignment with business objectives.

In this position you will report to the Commercial Co-Lead and play a key role in ensuring seamless execution of the brand strategy while fostering collaboration across teams to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate at Global / Regional Brand meeting to create campaigns, materials & deliver identified project activities and provide key local input into market access initiatives.
  • Together with the core local brand team responsible for developing brand objectives and aligning individual function KPIs for the local brand team.
  • Co-ordinate knowledge and understanding of the local market(s) to drive sustainable, profitable growth, enhancing operational efficiency and advancing Astellas’ commercial goals.
  • Develop and execute the operational Brand Plan in-market through localization / adaptation of EMEA materials and initiatives with focus on analytics. Lead and ensure local brand performance meet agreed standards.
  • Engage with and manage the relationship with key local customers and key opinion leaders to develop insights and services.
  • End-to-end project management experience.
  • Proven track record of planning and managing product launches, measurement and revenue growth.
  • Strong customer and patient orientation.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Solid knowledge on Brand Management in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Marketing strategies development experience, preferable with Forecasting.
  • Extensive background in Urology and Women’s Health brand management, with a proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management and Opinion Leader Management.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • This position is based in Madrid, Spain.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum 2 day per week in our Spain office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
