About the Role & Your Team

Join our Digital Solutions team and help transform the future of recycling through cutting-edge web applications. At the heart of our efforts is STADLERconnect, a cloud-based platform designed to optimize sorting plant performance through intelligent data analysis and smart web applications, offering smart modules like our Blockage Detection, Predictive Maintenance, Downtime Tracker, Production Report, and Bale Check. You will play a crucial role in developing intuitive and scalable web applications for these solutions that provide tangible value and insights to our customers in the recycling industry. This role reports to the Head of Digital Solutions and offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to real-world industrial recycling challenges.

Your Mission

• Build modular, responsive applications using Angular, design tokens and Tailwind CSS.
• Visualize time-series and event-based data using data grids and charting libraries.
• Collaborate on the backend to evolve APIs and surface key operational insights.
• Handle data from industrial devices using real-time communication protocols.
• Apply good testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end), static analysis, and secure API consumption.
• Contribute actively to sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other collaborative team sessions.

Your Profile: Must-have skills

• Strong Angular expertise with minimum three years building Angular production systems (v15 or later) with TypeScript, routing, reactive forms, and automated testing.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Fluent English for daily collaboration with an international development team.

Highly valued experience

We work with a modern tech stack and value experience in:

• Python / Django REST Framework
• PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, time-series databases, and data-heavy UIs
• AG Grid, amCharts, or similar visualization tools
• MQTT, Redis, WebSocket or similar real-time data pipelines
• Experience in industrial data / IoT platforms
• German or Spanish language skills.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable practical experience.
