An entry-level sales position supporting the DIY business, with responsibilities to meet sales and service goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source from various suppliers. Familiarity with store inventory and maintenance processes is essential. Position can be part-time or full-time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

• Deliver excellent customer service during store visits and phone interactions
• Meet personal sales goals and contribute to store sales objectives
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper replacement
• Maintain store product displays and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck stocking, cycle counts, and back stock

• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot
• Assist with stocking, including trucks and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

• Basic driving skills and navigation ability
• Proficiency with delivery systems
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Experience operating inventory and store equipment
• Parts and automotive system knowledge
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Skill in testing and diagnostics for DIY services

• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus; effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail, delivering superior customer service

This role requires standing, walking, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception. The work environment is mostly indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and exposure to mechanical and chemical hazards. Noise level is moderate.
