A software development firm in Germany seeks a talented software engineer to redefine chip design workflows. This role involves building a high-performance developer platform using TypeScript and JavaScript. You'll integrate advanced AI features and optimize performance for large codebases. Ideal candidates should thrive in fast-paced environments and have a solid track record in delivering end-to-end products.
We’re looking for a 10x software engineer to build the core developer environment that will redefine how chips are designed. This is not a typical full-stack role, you’ll be architecting and shipping a high-performance platform purpose-built for chip engineers, integrating cutting-edge AI models, multi-agent systems, and specialized visual tooling. You’ll work directly with our ML team to bring advanced AI capabilities into an intuitive, lightning-fast interface, shaping both the product and the engineering culture from the ground up. If you're interested in building developer tools or IDEs or an agent engineer, thrive in a fast-moving startup, and have a track record of shipping polished products end-to-end, you’ll feel right at home here.
Build and optimize our full-stack code editor platform for chip engineers using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks.
Integrate AI features in close collaboration with ML engineers—autocomplete, refactoring tools, and visual simulation powered by low-latency model streaming.
Architect core developer workflows, including features similar to Cursor/Windsurf but adapted for RTL and chip design.
Drive performance optimization so our IDE handles massive chip design codebases without lag.
Lead product decisions around UI/UX and the technical architecture for chip-specialized developer tools.
Ship features rapidly, expect to make meaningful contributions every other day.
