A leading technology consulting firm seeks a specialist to operate and maintain the msg.Life Factory platform. Candidates must have mandatory experience with this platform, proficiency in Java applications, and strong SQL skills. This remote role offers the opportunity to enhance system performance and ensure operational excellence, appealing to those available to start immediately.
Formación
- Experience with the MSG-Lifefactory platform is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Java applications and web/app servers is required.
- Strong SQL diagnostic and data analysis skills.
Responsabilidades
- Operate and maintain the msg.Life Factory.
- Handle complex issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Plan and execute releases with post-deployment checks.
- Track system health and performance metrics.
- Manage settings, job schedules, and backups.
Conocimientos
This is an urgent position, so candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
In this role, you will be part of the Application Operations and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the msg.Life Factory platform. This role bridges technical operations and application support, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
- Operate and maintain msg.Life Factory across all environments.
- Handle complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Plan and execute releases, including post-deployment checks.
- Track system health and performance (Kubernetes, JMS / Kafka / MQ).
- Manage settings, job schedules, backups, and database links.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and document in JIRA.
- Streamline tasks through scripting and tooling.
- Must have experience in MSG-Lifefactory platform, this is non-negotiable
- Proficiency in Java-based applications and web / app servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere / Liberty).
- Strong SQL skills for diagnostics and data analysis.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with REST / SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
- Understanding of database systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
- Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and monitoring platforms.
- Contract end: June 2026

- Language: English (German is an advantage but not required)
