It Software Engineer jobs in Germany

As an Application Engineer, you will work in the field of Autonomous Driving and Software Engineering. You will apply this technology in sophisticated customer applications, for the development and testing of advanced perception algorithms for research or production-intent programs.

• Work directly with customers across the automotive industry (and other industries) to provide tools and tool extensions in the area of data driven development (DDD)
• Develop and support tools to log, replay, and simulate lidar, camera, and/or radar sensor data
• Generate excitement, confidence and passion for the use of newly released and soon to be released dSPACE products
• Implementing customer-specific projects from concept to delivery
• Support existing customers with issues related to projects and tool use

• Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science/Software Engineering, or related experience
• Intermediate C++ coding ability
• Intermediate Python coding ability
• Experience with the ADAS/AD domain
• Experience with both Windows and Linux environments
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• A desire to learn and be challenged
  
• Experience with robotics applications
• Experience with automotive middlewares such as RTMaps, ROS, ADTF, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of deep learning/AI systems
• Familiarity (or even development experience) with gaming engines such as Unreal or Unity
• Advanced knowledge of Linux filesystem
