As a Machine Operator in Giessen, you'll play an essential role in the production process. You'll operate and monitor modern packaging machines, making sure every product meets the highest quality standards. In this dynamic environment, you'll be responsible for keeping the production line running smoothly, performing basic maintenance, and solving any technical issues that come up.

Your main tasks include:

• Operating and monitoring packaging machines safely and efficiently


• Performing quality checks to maintain product standards


• Carrying out routine maintenance and troubleshooting


• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment

This is a full‑time role organized in a 3‑shift rotation (Monday to Friday):

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:45


• Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:45


• Night shift: 22:00 - 06:45

Occasional weekend work may be required with extra pay for those shifts.

• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in the food industry


• Skilled in operating and troubleshooting packaging machinery


• Good command of spoken English or Dutch


• A practical mindset, accuracy, and efficiency in a busy environment

• Base salary: starting from €15.65 per hour, depending on experience, up to €15.97 per hour


• Shift allowance: +14% for 2‑shift schedule €17.85 - €18.21 per hour; +19% for 3‑shift schedule €18.63 - €19.00 per hour


• Weekend & holiday pay: +30% for Saturday shifts €20.35 - €20.76 per hour; +100% for public holidays €31.30 - €31.94 per hour


• Vacation allowance: 8%
