Job summary
A leading technology firm in Essen is looking for a dedicated legal consultant with a Bachelor's degree in German and/or European law. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting contracts in English and German, and managing licenses. Ideal candidates should have B2 level German and IELTS 6.0 in English with strong communication skills. The role offers an attractive benefits package including 30 vacation days and opportunities for further education.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research on laws and regulations of European countries.
- Draft, review and advise commercial contracts in English and German.
- Assist with management of licenses and permits.

Education
Starting immediately, we are looking for a new colleague on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) for our modern office in Essen. If you are dedicated and ambitious, FPT is an excellent place to grow your career.
- Conduct research on the laws, regulations, and commercial practices of European countries (mainly countries where FPT Software Europe has presence) as required to support legal consultations.
- Involve in drafting, reviewing and advising commercial contracts in English (mainly) and German.
- Assist with the management of the FPT Software Europe company group’s licenses and permits, including updating business registrations as needed.
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
- Bachelor’s degree from a German university in German and/or European law
- Internship experience in a law firm or an in-house legal department
- Good command of German (minimum B2) and English (minimum IELTS 6.0)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Honest, responsible, hard-working and teamwork
