A leading platform company located in Germany is looking for a Head of Sales & Strategic Partnerships. This role focuses on building and leading an enterprise sales organization, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving predictable revenue growth. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in enterprise sales leadership, with a proven track record in complex IT platform sales. This is a pivotal position aimed at preparing the company for IPO and scaling its operations effectively.
As Head of Sales & Strategic Partnerships, you will build and lead Wandelbots’ enterprise sales and partner management organization, focused on:
Winning large, multi-year enterprise platform agreements
Establishing Wandelbots as a strategic IT–OT platform provider at board level
Scaling revenue through a hybrid direct + ecosystem-led GTM model
Creating predictable, repeatable enterprise growth aligned with IPO standards
You will operate at the intersection of enterprise strategy, P&L impact, platform adoption, and ecosystem scale. Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer.

Wandelbots is building the category-defining platform for Physical AI – an IT platform for the OT world that enables enterprises to standardize, scale, and future-proof automation across global operations.
After securing tier-one enterprise customers in the automotive and industrial sector and establishing a strong strategic partner ecosystem (including EY, T-Systems, EDAG, MHP, Grid Dynamics, NVIDIA, Microsoft), we are entering the next phase: scaling enterprise sales and partner-led growth with IPO readiness in mind. This role is mission‑critical on our path to becoming a public, platform-led company.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Enterprise Sales Strategy & Execution
Build and lead the enterprise sales organization for Europe, with future global expansion in mind
Own CxO-level engagement across Production, Operations, Finance, Digital, and IT
Drive platform-first selling, not project or feature selling
Establish and execute consultative, value-based sales motions
Lead complex sales cycles (12–24 months) from strategic alignment to framework agreements
Ensure every engagement is designed for scale, expansion, and long-term ARR
Business Case & Value Engineering Leadership
Own and elevate enterprise-grade business case creation
Translate Physical AI and IT–OT platforms into P&L impact, cost, efficiency, and flexibility gains, as well as risk reduction and capital efficiency
Ensure Wandelbots is consistently positioned as a board-relevant investment, not an operational tool
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Scale
Build and manage a high-impact partner ecosystem including consulting and transformation partners (e.g. EY, MHP), technology partners (e.g. NVIDIA, Microsoft), and delivery and managed services partners (e.g. EDAG, GridDynamics, T-Systems)
Define rules of engagement between direct sales and partner-led motions
Enable partners to scale delivery without losing platform integrity
Turn partnerships into a non-linear growth lever, not a services dependency
Leadership, Structure & IPO Readiness
Hire, coach, and develop senior enterprise sellers and partner leaders
Establish scalable sales governance, forecasting, and deal quality standards
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Project Delivery, Product, and Finance
Build a revenue engine that stands up to public-market proven standards, enterprise procurement rigor, and long-term valuation narratives
Experience & Background
Many years in enterprise sales leadership, ideally in enterprise software, platform businesses, or IT-led transformation environments
Proven track record selling complex IT platforms into global enterprises
Experience with multi-stakeholder, board-level buying processes
Strong exposure to partner-led and ecosystem-driven GTM models
Experience preparing organizations for hyper-growth or IPO phases is a strong plus
Ideally, you are based in one of the following regions: Rhine-Main, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, or Cologne/Bonn
