Then support us in Munich with max. 20 hours per week as working student in our team “Credit Risk Reports & Data” in UniCredit Bank GmbH.

The “Reports & Data” team is the hub for data, analyses and innovative credit risk projects at UniCredit Bank GmbH. We use big data, advanced analytics and machine learning techniques as well as business intelligence solutions. In this way, we increase efficiencies anduncover previously inaccessible information in a standardized, transparent and addressee-friendly manner. We activelysupport the digital transformationof the entire UniCredit Group, from identifying use‑cases forinteractive visualizations, through evaluation and implementation to roll‑out for users. We are involved in the collection andpromotion of AI use casesin the credit risk area. We work in close collaboration with other departments of the bank, UniCredit Holding and its other legal entities.

What you'll be doing
  • Daily handling big data volumes, coding the extraction and visualization of information.
  • Support us in the automation of our Credit Risk processes via dashboards and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Apply innovative methods for Data analytics.

Daily activities will comprise data analysis/processing with SAS/SQL/Python, code implementation and testing, evaluation and analysis, provide standardized solutions and information visualization, support in the development of AI solutions.

In your application, please let us know your preferred start date, contract length (e.g. 12 months), if you would be available more than 20h/week in semester break (incl. preferred number of hours and corresponding timespan), confirmation for availability for on‑site work in Munich at least one day per week and the planned end date of university studies (e.g. master).

What you'll need to succeed
  • Academic background in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline
  • Proven practical experience with databases (SQL) is necessary and knowledge of at least one programming language is a prerequisite (preferably SAS, or Python, Power Query, …)
  • Experience with data visualization – ideally Business Intelligence software (i.e. SAS Visual Analytics, PowerBI/DAX, Tableau, …)
  • Hands‑on experience in applying Artificial Intelligence techniques (Gradient Boosting models, RAG, LLM, …)
  • Interest in working within heterogeneous data and system landscape
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve and structure complex tasks
  • Relation to the financial sector/banking through specialization during studies, internship or training would be beneficial
