Your Mission: High-Performance Venture Building As a Venture Consultant, you are the strategic sparring partner for the next generation of pioneers in high-impact technologies. You will play a dual role: delivering world-class coaching for our core program and driving the success of specialized vertical tracks. Your goal is to combine cross-sector expertise with operational excellence to build the most successful startups in Europe.

Your profile

Academic Foundation & Expertise

  • Top-Tier Education: Master’s degree in Natural Sciences from a leading university.
  • Vertical Knowledge: Proven background or professional experience in Life Sciences or Biotech a plus.

Professional Track Record

  • High-Growth Experience: Professional experience in the startup or innovation ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial DNA: You have a first track record of building your own startup or have gained deep insights as an early employee in a highly successful tech venture.
  • Investor Perspective: Experience working within a Venture Capital fund, a top-tier accelerator, or a strategic consultancy focused on high-tech innovation.
  • Project Leadership: You are a self-starter who has successfully managed complex projects and stakeholder landscapes, including reporting to corporate partners and foundations.

Hard Skills & Venture Competencies

  • Venture Building: Deep understanding of Startup methodology, Product-Market Fit (PMF) frameworks, and the nuances of B2B/DeepTech sales cycles.
  • Financial Literacy: Ability to critically evaluate pitch decks, cap tables, and financial models to ensure startups are funding-ready.
  • Data & Digital Fluency: Experience using CRM systems and data-driven tools to automate scouting funnels and track portfolio performance.
  • Communication: Fluent in written and verbal English (working language); German skills are a plus.

Your mission
  • Best in Class Startup Coaching & Acceleration: You take full responsibility for the acceleration of startups across our core verticals.   • Network & Ecosystem Matchmaking: You connect your portfolio teams with specialized talent, pilot customers, and venture capital, leveraging the unique UnternehmerTUM platform to create unfair advantages for our founders. You bring and further build your own network, ideally in the fields of Life Sciences or Biotech and beyond which you leverage for our startups.
