Hardware Developer (Embedded Systems & PCB Design) – Remote (NRW)
Job summary
A tech recruitment company is looking for an experienced Hardware Developer in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The candidate will design mixed-signal circuits and create production-ready PCB layouts, with a strong focus on embedded systems and EMC compliance. This full-time role offers remote collaboration and a competitive rate of €95–100 per hour. Fluent English and German are required.

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Developer to join our engineering team in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. If you have a passion for embedded hardware & software development, PCB design, and EMC compliance, this project is for you.
- Design and develop mixed-signal circuits (32-bit Cortex-M MCUs)
- Create EMC-compliant, production-ready PCB layouts (Altium, LTspice, etc.)
- Define hardware specifications & subsystem architecture
- Participate in design reviews and support subsystem-level requirements
- Write test instructions for PCBAs & assemblies
- Collaborate remotely across international teams
- Strong background in embedded hardware & software
- Experience with PCB design & simulation tools (e.g., Altium, LTspice)
- Knowledge of RF design and signal / noise integrity management
- Hands-on experience with EMC testing (a big plus)
- Ability to write clear technical documentation
- Fluent in English & German
- Location : NRW, Germany (remote collaboration possible)
- Start Date : October 1st
- Engagement : Full-time, 40h / week
- Duration : 6 months (extension possible)
- Rate : €95–100 / h
