Your profile
  • University degree with recognized business qualification, Business Administration, Controlling, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Economics or Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the automotive industry, preferably in Pricing / Product Management / Marketing / Controlling / Sales / Finance
  • Expert knowledge in pricing methods, tools and strategies
  • Profound knowledge of the aftersales, service business and trends in the automotive industry
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and the ability to develop data-driven strategies and business cases
  • Full IT literacy including databases and financial, order, sales and invoicing systems
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Applications (especially MS Excel - preferably also Excel VBA)
  • Strong skills in communication and coordination, internally and externally as well as to convince and guide others
  • Experience in building and leading international highly motivated teams
Your tasks
  • Lead, guide and supervise all activities related to the Teams (Operational Pricing and Margin & Profit Controlling) to achieve their objectives
  • Implement the European pricing strategy and execute logical pricing method, utilising segmentation, and market considerations to ensure that competitiveness is controlled at the correct level; maximise revenue, minimise lost sales
  • Manage and control the setting of prices for all new Hyundai, Kia, Genesis parts to meet all requirements as defined by MPE management
  • Manage price changes on existing parts during the year and determine the planned list price update considering a profitability target and reduction of Low Margin items and negotiate implementation with European Head Offices of Hyundai and Kia
  • Supervise new model pricing analysis by comparing old and new car models for relevant parts, present forecasts with competitive data, suggest a price strategy and summarize for management approval
  • Negotiate with IP vendors on price changes and enforce MPE price change guideline
  • Control and purchase price change, MAC review and invoice deviation systematically to minimise lost profit
  • Create new pricing strategies for observed changed business demands and roll-out new process, e.g. Index based pricing
  • Design and maintenance of pricing tools and methods to efficiently manage the price structure
  • Support and motivate the Teams to maximize their performance, create the right spirit and a good work atmosphere, manage and solve difficulties
