A global healthcare company is seeking candidates for its Finance Professional Development Program in Wiesbaden, Germany. This two-year program offers college graduates in Finance or Accounting the opportunity to work on diverse assignments within the company. Participants will receive mentorship from senior financial leaders and gain significant exposure across various areas of finance. Ideal candidates are geographically mobile and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Finance Professional Development Program – EU & the UK
Abbott’s Financial Professional Development Program (FPDP) prepares college graduates with majors in Accounting and Finance for financial management roles. The goal of the global program is to identify and develop Abbott’s future global Finance leaders. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. Each FPDP participant will be assigned to a senior financial leader who will mentor and advise them.
Each FPDP participant spends two years in the program, during which time they will complete four different six-month assignments across a variety of Abbott businesses and areas of Finance, such as corporate and division headquarters, manufacturing plants, and other operating environments. Assignments in Europe and the UK can be located in multiple areas each year, including:
Upon completion of the program, each member will be assisted by the Program Management Office to find a role of their choice within Abbott. FPDP participants are required to roll off the program in their home region.
