Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and professional Support Worker (Helfende Hände) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing hands‑on assistance and emotional support, helping clients with daily living tasks and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Helping with meal preparation, feeding assistance and hydration reminders
• Supporting medication intake as per care plan (if qualified / approved)
• Providing companionship, meaningful activities and emotional encouragement
• Collaborating with the broader care team and following care plans / documentation standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for clients

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a citizen of an EU Member State (proof of citizenship required); non‑EU candidates will not be considered.
• Valid right to work in the country of employment.
• Experience in care, nursing assistance or similar role (or equivalent training).
• Strong communication skills in English and German – at least B1 level.
• Empathetic, reliable, punctual and physically able to support mobility and daily tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a care team.
• Willingness to undergo background check and hold any required certifications (e.g. first aid, care qualification).
• Flexibility in schedule including possible evenings and weekends if required.
