Job Description: Strategic Partnership Manager

We are seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to develop and manage key partnerships that align with Cerence AI's strategic goals. The role involves researching potential partners, developing partnership strategies, and managing relationships to foster mutual growth.

  1. Strategic Partnership Development: Research and identify potential partners, develop and execute partnership strategies, analyze market trends, and identify innovative opportunities.
  2. Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, serve as the primary contact, and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate partnership agreements, develop business proposals, and manage the partnership lifecycle.
  4. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor partnership performance, identify improvement areas, and prepare activity reports including royalty forecasting.
  5. Internal Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, product development, and revenue accounting teams to align and execute partnership initiatives.
  6. Operational Excellence: Manage administrative tasks, source third-party providers, and ensure compliance with contracting principles.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years in business development, focusing on partnerships and strategic alliances
  • Experience managing third-party partnerships
  • Knowledge in Generative AI, human-machine interfaces, cloud software, or automotive applications
  • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, strategic thinking, and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic initiatives
