Finning is seeking a passionate and driven individual for the role of Mining & Maintenance Manager. In this position, you will lead initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency at mine sites, overseeing operations, maintenance, reliability, and mine planning to ensure safe and seamless mineral extraction.

The expected base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $180,000 annually, complemented by incentives such as an annual bonus and shift premiums. Job Description:
- Lead and mentor a team of Mining Engineers and specialists, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Maintain a hands-on leadership style with a strong on-site presence, actively participating in work activities.
- Develop and execute strategic maintenance plans aligned with production needs and safety standards.
- Optimize maintenance scheduling to maximize efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.
- Enhance preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes to improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to align maintenance with operational requirements.
- Support the implementation and optimization of Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS).
- Establish and monitor KPIs for maintenance, analyzing trends for improvement.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to leadership and clients.
- Demonstrate value through performance improvements and cost savings, maintaining professionalism.
- Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to adopt innovative maintenance solutions.
- Work with Finning and Caterpillar teams to implement cost-effective practices supporting key mining accounts.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a related field or 10+ years in mining operations.
- 5+ years leading Mine Maintenance teams with proven performance improvements.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Expertise in mining operations and project management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with mining software and automation technologies.
- Problem-solving skills and a positive mindset.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Collaborative, responsive, and service-oriented approach.
- Strong time management and sense of urgency.

- Full-time, permanent role, Monday – Friday, 5x2 shifts.
