Hardware Systems Verification Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Hardware Systems Verification Engineer to join our team.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Responsibilities
  • Perform system level testing and verify equipment level testing for safety critical hardware.
  • Interpreting electrical hardware schematics and perform test case development and execution – this includes:
  • The development of test cases and procedures.
  • Peer reviewing tests for correctness and completeness.
  • Debugging test cases and potential issues when tests fail.
  • Ensuring test cases and the associated test processes meet all required objectives.
  • Performing oversight reviews on all global developed test assets including test documents, test cases and test procedures.
  • Assist in the management and tracking of outsource and globalized test activities. This includes generating the associated SOW for the outsource work activity, managing and tracking the systems verification work to ensure schedule, quality and earned value metrics are met.
  • Assist in the execution of the Formal Qualification Test event and participate in the supporting TRR.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in systems verification is required.
  • Experienced with interpreting electrical hardware schematics and developing and executing test cases in Python.
  • Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of system level testing, verification and validation.
  • Ability to work across hardware and software.
  • Strong understanding of systems software testing methods and tools is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
