Position: Lot Attendant

Dealership: Cambridge Hyundai

Location: Cambridge, Ontario

Classification: Full time, Onsite, Immediate vacancy

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Your Role: As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for washing vehicles, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and moving inventory. Physical ability to maneuver around and inside vehicles is essential for thorough detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport customers and staff as needed
• Maintain dealership grounds and lot organization
• Assist with service and sales duties
• Organize and park vehicles for sale and service
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags from vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for damages or stains and report issues
• Assist with service write-ups and parts pickup
• Help with shop clean-up and deliveries
• Seasonal exterior cleaning (e.g., snow removal)
• Address lot merchandising needs
• Place signage on vehicles for advertising
• Monitor vehicle reconditioning progress
• Maintain lot cleanliness
• Perform detailed cleaning of customer vehicles
• Ensure showroom display vehicles are spotless
• Deliver dealer trades and drive customers when needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Interest in automotive industry and vehicle knowledge
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
• Experience with cleaning tools and products is a plus
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize
• Excellent customer service skills
