We care about investing in our employees for the long-run, and if you ask our team, they’ll tell you that’s just one of the many benefits of working here. We want to be a place where you can experience career growth and satisfaction for many years.

Here’s what else you’ll enjoy as part of our team:

  • Competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits, vacation, and a suite of wellness initiatives
  • Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement
Qualifications/Education/Memberships
  • Minimum of a degree or a technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or environmental related studies
  • Ideally 15+ years of experience in contaminated site work including managing, leading, and directing environmental site assessments (Phase I, II, and III ESAs), soil, soil vapour, and groundwater sampling, and remediation programs
  • Experience working on and reviewing complex assessment and remediation programs at hydrocarbon and salinity impacted sites
  • Experience working on federal government projects and in the energy sector (upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas facilities) are significant assets
  • Experience with various emerging contaminants of concern including PFAS is a significant asset
  • Experience with various remediation techniques (e.g. excavation, in-situ and ex-situ bioremediation, chemical oxidation, soil vapour and multi-phase extraction, monitored natural attenuation), risk assessment and reclamation is an asset
  • Knowledge and practical application of health & safety requirements unique to oil and gas facilities, construction sites, subsurface investigations, and contaminated sites
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with various provincial and national regulatory frameworks and bodies (e.g., AEPA, AER, and Federal Regulations)
  • Professional status or eligibility for professional status and regulatory sign-off capability for contaminated site assessment and remediation work in Alberta with APEGA (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Tech, etc.) is required, with the ability to register with other provincial associations
