Senior Sales Operations Analyst
Full‑time, permanent. Mostly from home with monthly 3‑day meetings in Mississauga.
Your role
The Senior Sales Operations Analyst enables commercial excellence across our Canadian Retail and Out‑of‑Home channels by providing advanced analytics, operational support, and cross‑functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Analysis
- Generate, analyze, and interpret Retail and Out‑of‑Home sales reports.
- Maintain dashboards and leadership reporting (including commissions, KPIs, and performance trackers).
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support commercial decision‑making.
- Conduct trade investment analysis and develop tools to track ROI and accountability.
- Support customer distribution analysis and prepare sell‑in presentations.
- Prepare deal sheet, verify deductions, oversee the entire trade investment process from the deal submission to deduction clearance and ad execution.
Marketing, Demand Planning & Forecasting Support
- Partner with Marketing on campaign execution, sample coordination, presentations, and promotional alignment.
- Support Demand Planning with data inputs, forecast tracking, and customer portal or deal‑sheet management.
- Provide insights for S&OP cycles and improve forecast accuracy.
Process Optimization & Commercial Operations
- Enhance sales processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Maintain shared templates, documentation, and master data (pricing, GS1, product info).
- Support territory planning, quota setting, and incentive program management.
- Drive adoption of new tools and best practices across the team.
Cross‑Functional & Leadership Support
- Support Customer Business Managers, Canadian Retail Manager, and Sales Agency teams.
- Prepare monthly or quarterly business review templates and leadership reporting.
- Coordinate team meetings, agendas, follow‑ups, and onboarding processes.
- Assist with invoice tracking and partner payment management.
Your Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related discipline (preferred).
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills (must).
- Experience with Nielsen, retailer POS tools, or syndicated data (preferred).
- Familiarity with internal systems such as SAP is an asset.
- Prior experience in CPG, category management, customer planning, or analytics (preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Strong business acumen and ability to partner across functions.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
