Job summary
A leading gaming company located in Toronto seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial statements and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, possesses a CPA designation, and has at least 5 years of experience in a publicly traded company. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possess a CPA designation or equivalent.
- Bring at least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a publicly traded company.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Show proficiency in accounting software (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Taking full responsibility for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Reviewing and posting month-end journals for multiple entities.
- Operating in a rigorous internal controls environment.
- Preparing or reviewing month-end schedules and reports.
- Completing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
