We’re looking for a Senior People Business Partner – Sales to join our People team and directly support our Sales organization across the US, Canada, and UK. Reporting to the Manager of People Business Partnerships, you will be a strategic advisor to Sales leadership, helping scale our business by shaping organizational design, leadership capability, and performance culture.

You’ll be embedded as a true business partner, working with executives and people leaders to align talent strategy with business strategy. You’ll influence decisions on growth, structure, performance, and engagement while also rolling up your sleeves to implement programs that drive impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Business Partnership
    • Partner with Sales leadership to understand business priorities and translate them into a people and talent agenda that accelerates growth.
    • Act as a trusted coach and advisor to leaders on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, performance, and team dynamics.
    • Anticipate challenges in retention, scaling, and engagement, and proactively develop solutions to address them.
  • Talent & Performance
    • Champion a high-performance culture through tailored frameworks for goal setting, performance feedback, and career development.
    • Lead sales talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning in partnership with executives.
    • Drive strategies for leadership development and employee growth across all levels of the Sales organization.
    • Shape and sustain a culture of high performance within Sales.
    • Partner with leaders to successfully navigate organizational change, ensuring clarity, communication, and adoption.
    • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of people and talent decision-making.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Partner with People Operations on compensation, employee relations, compliance, and global policy alignment.
    • Lead the rollout of people programs (compensation cycles, engagement surveys, manager enablement, etc.) within Sales.
    • Analyze workforce data and metrics to inform strategic recommendations and measure impact.
About You
  • 7+ years of experience in HR/People Business Partner roles, with at least 3+ years partnering directly with Sales organizations in high-growth, global tech or SaaS companies.
  • Proven ability to influence executives and senior leaders, not just support them.
  • Strong track record of designing and implementing people programs that drive business results.
  • Skilled in organizational design, leadership coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, you can zoom out to see the big picture but also dive into the details when needed.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • You thrive in hyper-growth environments, you enjoy building in motion, adapting quickly, and scaling programs, teams, and culture as the company grows.
What’s in it for you
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
  • You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.
  • We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.
