Job description

WPred is a company specializing in providing weather and energy production forecasts for wind and solar farm operators, as well as airport runway maintenance. Leveraging our expertise in advanced modeling and data analysis, we help our clients optimize their production and better manage risks.

The ideal B2B Sales Representative will have excellent communication skills, previous experience in SaaS sales, and a strong desire to pursue a career in renewable energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads, focusing on renewable energy producers and airports across North America.
  • Possibility to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Develop a compelling sales pitch.
  • Tailor presentations to the specific needs of prospects.
  • Stay informed about market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement, in line with the company’s entrepreneurial values.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or SaaS sales.
  • Proven "hunter" mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (essential due to the covered territories).
  • Spanish proficiency is an asset.
  • Understanding of the renewable energy market is a plus.

Responsabilités:
  • Identifier, qualifier et convertir des leads, en ciblant les producteurs d’énergie renouvelable ainsi que les aéroports en Amérique du Nord.
  • Opportunité de participer à l’ensemble du cycle de vente, de la prospection jusqu’à la conclusion des ententes.
  • Établir et entretenir des relations avec les décideurs clés grâce à la recherche, la prospection à froid et le réseautage.
  • Développer un « pitch » de vente convaincantAdapter les présentations aux besoins spécifiques des prospects
  • Suivre les tendances du marché et identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance.
  • Contribuer à une culture d'innovation, d'expérimentation et d'amélioration continue, en lien avec les valeurs entrepreneuriales de l'entreprise.

Qualifications:
  • BAC en administration, finance ou ingénierie.
  • Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en développement des affaires ou en vente de produit SaaS.
  • Mentalité de "Hunter" démontrée.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation.
  • Autonomie avec une mentalité axée sur les résultats.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral (essentiel en raison des territoires couverts).
  • La maîtrise de l’espagnol est un atout.
  • Compréhension du marché de l'énergie renouvelable (un atout).
