Job summary
A leading financial services company in Toronto is seeking a Senior Advisor, Market Risk Oversight. This role involves leading risk management activities, particularly in market risk, and requires a deep understanding of financial risks and regulatory frameworks. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of relevant experience and strong analytical skills. - Minimum of 8 years experience in market risk or financial risk management.
- Experience with Private Assets or Derivatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AMF/OSFI).
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in French is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring and reporting of market risk exposures.
- Develop and maintain financial risk indicators and limits.
- Oversee Private Assets and evaluate derivatives for hedging.
- Assist in policy development for financial risk oversight.
- Prepare quarterly financial risk reports for management.
