A leading standard organization in Toronto is seeking an experienced technician to conduct testing and R&D assignments related to product standards. The role involves a variety of testing procedures and requires a strong educational background in technology, with skills in EMC and radio testing. Candidates should have excellent communication abilities and be adept at both individual and team tasks.

Under general direction, designs set-ups and conducts experimental programs and accurately obtains and records data; fabricates experimental apparatus. Performs R&D assignments that are not standardized or prescribed. May make modifications to experimental set‑ups, troubleshoot, and correct equipment malfunctions as necessary, and provide oral and written status reports. Main function is to test products to the given Standards.
