Job description

The Account team diligently oversees a diverse portfolio of existing off-road recreational vehicle clients, Associations and Federations, statewide agency, provincial wide agency and municipalities employing strategic initiatives to amplify revenue per account. They adeptly navigate through tailored solutions and innovative product offerings, leveraging their expertise to drive growth and foster mutually beneficial relationships. Through insightful analysis and proactive engagement, the team consistently seeks avenues to optimize revenue streams, ensuring the sustained success of both the clients and the organization.

Among other things, you will have to:

  • Sales Process: Implement the Mapgears Sales process in assigned accounts.
  • Sales Targets: Establish & deliver order, revenue & profit targets for our products accounts in the off-road sector.
  • Account Planning: advance Mapgears’ relationship and account penetration with assigned accounts by formulating an account plan and competitive sales strategy to drive continuous improvements by using the Mapgears Sales Process.
  • Forecast/Report Performance: develop and implement results-oriented activity and forecast information. Provide information in a timely fashion.
  • Solutions Development: liaise with the solutions solution team within the business sector in order to create appropriate and compelling solutions for assigned accounts.
  • Manage Competitive Activity: develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to contain competitive activity and increase market share within assigned accounts.

The ideal profile has the following skills:

  • 5+ years of in building and managing client relationships, especially in software sales
  • 5+ years of experience in account management
  • A degree in Administration or Sales
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Maintaining and growing key relationships
  • Strong strengths in improving customer satisfaction and driving revenue
  • Must be fluent in English

Assets:

  • Experience in GIS
  • Knowledge of the software world and business development process
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in the following fields : municipal, waste management, public work
  • Fluent in French
