About Staffing works with a number of warehouses across Calgary that require temporary, casual, part time and permanent workers. We are now hiring for a number of Forklift Operators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working in a variety of warehouses including distribution, manufacturing, etc. across multiple locations in Calgary (Mainly SE Industrial Area, but also in NE, Balzac, etc.)

The key job functions are:

• Operating Forklift within a warehouse environment
• General Labour – Lifting >50lbs
• Picking/Packing – Putting together orders, palletizing, boxing, etc.
• Shipping/Receiving – Organizing shipments in preparation for pick up or after drop off
• Swamping – Unloading trucks, moving materials around shop

Education:

• High School or Equivalent (asset)

Qualifications:

• Forklift certification an asset (some locations will require this)
• Reliable
• Team player

Experience:

• 1 – 3 years forklift operating experience

Work Hours:

• Work hours will vary depending on the assignment details and employers’ needs. This information will be confirmed at the time of your interview or offering of assignment(s).

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
