Job summary
A leading property management company in Vancouver is seeking a full-time leasing agent. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills, along with experience in leasing and property management. Responsibilities include assisting prospects, managing inquiries, and preparing units for tenant move-ins. This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Two years related leasing/sales experience within the property management industry.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Active driver's license and a reliable car.
Responsibilities
- Handle all telephone, email and walk-in inquiries professionally.
- Process qualifying prospects and encourage appointments.
- Tour properties with prospects and answer questions.
- Assist in qualifying for apartments and initiating background checks.
- Ensure units are prepared for move-in.
- Coordinate paperwork related to rentals and leases.

Qualifications:
- College/University Diploma preferred
- Two years related leasing/sales experience within the property management industry
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient with Office and Yardi required
- Able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
- Active driver's license and a reliable car
- Can work on the weekends and holidays
- Advertising and Marketing experience is an asset

- Ensure units are prepared for move-in in a timely manner
- Excellent customer service to residents to exceed their expectations
- Resident retention
- Coordinate paperwork related to apartment rentals, leases and payment
- Quarterly market surveys
- Other duties and/or procedures as required
- Available evenings and weekends
- Access to a vehicle
