Qualifications

Intellifi (Nesto Cloud) is the leading provider of independent mortgage pricing, risk rating and asset management software services for the commercial real estate finance industry in Canada. Our clients include some of Canada’s most prominent financial institutions, investment managers and pension funds. Our clients engage our risk rating, spread matrix and mortgage pricing services to support “mark to market” accounting, performance measurement, and portfolio valuation.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Execute detailed risk analysis and conduct valuation and pricing of commercial mortgages and fixed income products using DCF and market-based approaches.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports for annual client risk ratings and valuation summaries, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive sector expertise by conducting industry and market research, managing research databases, and responding directly to client investment and risk queries.
  • Optimize operational processes by leading or assisting with software development, testing, and automation initiatives.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives, demonstrating ownership over complex tasks and deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in commercial real estate underwriting, valuation, or credit analysis.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance and underwriting principles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel to create comprehensive data analysis and presentations.
  • Proactive and self-driven approach to work, demonstrating the ability to independently manage projects from inception to completion while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Highly results-driven with an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all underwriting and finance activities.
  • You love collaborating and sharing knowledge, but you also own your commitments and deliver results independently.
  • Enrollment or progress towards CFA and/or CBV designation will be considered an asset.
