Salary: Up to $150k
For 40+ years, our client has been a leader in new construction, renovations and expansions specializing in Institutional and Educational facilities in the GTA. Their team has been delivering high-quality projects with a focus on efficiency, safety, and excellence.
They are currently looking for an experienced ICI Site Superintendent to oversee and manage school construction projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve any site challenges.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Oversee site logistics, scheduling, and material deliveries to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control assessments, and progress reports.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and site records.
- 5+ years of experience as an ICI Site Superintendent managing institutional and educational construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, Ontario Building Code, and safety regulations.
- Experience working on projects such as schools, universities, hospitals, and government facilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate complex schedules.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites across the GTA.
