*Overview*This is a full-time role in our Winnipeg office for an experienced Project Manager.We offer a broad spectrum of services, including construction consulting and management, cost estimating, and schedule and delay consulting. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction consulting assignments covering these services. The Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct regular site visits, and interface with clients and project stakeholders.The ideal candidate should possess experience in managing a team of estimators in the development of conceptual level to highly detailed level estimates and construction audits in the resolution of claims in a wide ranging number of projects. Ideally the candidate should possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction quantity surveying, estimating and cost management functions, preferably with site-based experience.*Duties include but not limited to** Managing people, project finances and reports.* Understand construction design and layout plans, specifications, construction codes and standards.* Possess knowledge of current market conditions affecting the cost of construction, technological innovations, contractual obligations, material specifications, and regional variations affecting cost and supply of labour and materials.* Understand and conduct detail analysis and reconciliation of estimates and audit of project costs.*Requirements** Excellent written and verbal communication.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.* Strong organizational and problem solving skills.* A recognized technical qualification in the field of construction management, Engineering or related field* MRICS, PQS, PMP, CIQS or similar professional qualification.As an employer, MKA provides a competitive salary, combined with an attractive benefits and retirement savings plans and the ability to have work from home flexibility.Our dynamic work environment is one which provides the opportunity to work on a diverse range of project type and scale.Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:* Bonus payBenefits:* Dental care* Employee assistance program* Life insurance* Paid time off* RRSP match* Vision care* Work from homeSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededApplication question(s):* Do you have at least 5-10 years experience in construction quantity surveying, estimating and cost management functions with site-based experience?Experience:* Construction Estimating: 5 years (required)* Construction Consulting: 5 years (required)* Construction Project Manager: 5 years (required)Language:* English (required)Licence/Certification:* PMP, PQS, MRICS or CIQS certification (required)* Professional Quantity Surveyor (required)* Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Winnipeg, MB R2H 1J9
