A leading pulp and paper company in New Brunswick is seeking a Process Engineer to provide troubleshooting and optimization support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include leading investigations, improving processes, and ensuring safety practices. This role offers a collaborative environment aiming for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Pulp & Paper industry experience is required.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and great attention to detail.
- Interest in various business functions like Operations and Safety.
Responsabilités
- Lead mill investigations, trials, and improvement projects.
- Analyze process trends and propose solutions.
- Communicate process changes while promoting safety.

Formation
The Process Engineer is responsible for providing troubleshooting, process analyses, optimization and improvement support to Irving Forest Services within the mill Technical and Operations groups.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of Pulp & Paper industry experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Interest in a variety of business functions, such as Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Technical, Project Management and Safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and persistence - you are a problem-solver with natural tendency to ask questions
- Strong focus on safety and process improvement
- Drive, initiative, teamwork
- Language required: English
