Job summary
A public sector organization in Winnipeg is seeking a qualified drafter to prepare engineering designs and manage drafting tasks. Candidates should possess a trades certificate, SOLIDWORKS Certification, and 3-5 years of experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for supervising and training staff while ensuring detailed quality in all drafts. This is an on-site position, and candidates must have their own vehicle.
Qualifications
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience required.
- SOLIDWORKS Certification is essential.
- Knowledge of manual drafting, detailing, and presentation drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
- Supervise and train drafting personnel.
- Consult with clients and engineers to establish product requirements.
