A leading tire retailer in Vernon is seeking a Mailroom Support representative to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain office supplies, and conduct telephone communications. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a minimum of 6 months' relevant experience. Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items.
- Stamp and disperse mail, and maintain organization in the mailroom.
- Conduct high volume telephone communication and manage office supplies.
- Maintain and manage inventory in various office stations.

Shipping/Receiving
- Stamping Canada Post mail.
- Filing branch mail.
- Dispersing incoming mail.
- Picking and packaging of orders.
- General mailroom/loading dock cleanup.
- General shipping/receiving.
- Track lost packages.
- Trouble shooting and general maintenance on mailroom equipment.
- Copy required documents for all Vernon Office Departments.
- Print required materials for all Vernon Office Departments.
- High volume of telephone communication.
- Retaining product/promotion information for items shipped to Kal Tire locations.
- Retaining information regarding Kal Tire locations and appropriate managers/salesmen.
- Daily banking runs and other errands.
- Maintain Vernon Office boardrooms (ensure supplies are stocked & manage inventory).
- Maintain Vernon Office printing/copy stations (ensure supplies are stocked & manage inventory).
- Maintain Vernon Office coffee stations (ensure supplies are stocked & manage inventory).
- Minimum 6 months’ relatable experience.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe packing methods.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Grade 12 or GED equivalent.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
- This job requires one to be on their feet all day with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- The target compensation for this role is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience.
