As a key member of the Visual Merchandising team, the Visual Merchandising Manager drives sales by developing merchandising strategies for stores in collaboration with Purchasing, Marketing, Training, and Operations. Reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising, this role ensures all store types effectively display products and services to support sales. Through device and accessories merchandising, space planning for promotions, and communicating offerings to customers, the VMM plays a crucial role in business success.

This position supports The Mobile Shop, a division of Loblaw Inc., operating in over 200 Loblaw stores across Canada. As one of the largest multi-carrier retailers, The Mobile Shop provides customers with a broad selection of wireless providers in a convenient, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine planograms for all locations in collaboration with Purchasing, supporting device and accessory displays to drive sales.
• Create and update planograms using designated software to adapt to business needs across store types.
• Manage VM communication to the field team to ensure stores align with corporate standards and maintain excellent visual presentation.
• Support promotional and service presentations beyond devices and accessories, including residential, bundles, and PC points promotions.
• Serve as a resource for field teams, providing support, answering questions, and gathering feedback on VM strategies and communication.
• Maintain the VM ticketing process to promptly address store issues, supporting field operations.
• Develop training materials with the Training department to ensure understanding of VM concepts, utilizing multimedia tools as needed.
• Build strong relationships with regional teams, DMs, and SMs to ensure alignment and gather feedback on store execution and corporate initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, OEMs, and carriers on in-store signage, supporting print production, distribution, and communication.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on device needs and support distribution logistics.
• Work with VM Facilities teams on device security and display items, supporting reordering and replenishment.
• Partner with Marketing on in-store opportunities and support planogram implementation.
• Manage VM processes for new store openings, ensuring standards are met through documentation and communication.
• Review store designs and collaborate with Loblaws store design team to evolve and improve store layouts.
• Handle special projects, events, and communication with OEMs, carriers, and vendors as needed.
