Job summary
A regional healthcare provider in Bowmanville is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals for the role of Personal Support Worker (PSW). The PSW will assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and errands while maintaining a supportive and caring environment. Candidates must have a Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent, current CPR/First Aid training, and a valid Driver's License. The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene

- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
