Printpack's manufacturing plant in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Press Assistant for 2nd Shift (3p - 11p, Mon-Fri).

Additional $2.50/hr. premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.

Requirements:

• Prior experience running Rotogravure press preferred

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

• Requires standing for long periods

• Requires lifting of 50 lbs.

• Basic computer skills

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

• Assist Roto-gravure printing press operator

• Hang new rolls of printed packaging

• Splice rolls

• Remove completed rolls

• Monitor machines for proper running condition

• Enter/retrieve data into computer

• Monitor inks/adhesives

• Monitor progress of running job

• Communicate with peers and supervisory staff concerning production

• Perform housekeeping duties as needed around equipment
