Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer for Network Systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build software for hardware components on switches and routers, alongside mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have deep expertise in C/C++ and Python, and relevant experience in hardware device drivers. This position includes a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $195,000 based on qualifications and location.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in the design and development of hardware device drivers.
  • Understanding of IP networking and/or distributed systems is a plus.
  • Applied understanding of software engineering principles.

  • Architect, design and manage the development of innovative features.
  • Develop and maintain features using C, C++, and Python.

Skills

Expert knowledge of C or C++
