The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales, possesses relevant certifications, and excels in networking. As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. You will leverage your external networks and centres of influence to grow a practice, building new and long-term relationships. Your clients are your greatest asset, and your priority is providing investment and financial planning advice to help them meet their goals. You will meet clients outside of the office when needed and work within the Scotiabank framework to benefit both your clients and your practice.
Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, you will drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance and regulatory requirements. You will establish business development opportunities with prospects and clients within the assigned market area.
