A school district in New Brunswick is seeking qualified candidates for two permanent School Psychologist I positions. The ideal candidates will provide a range of psychological services focused on student learning and behavior. Responsibilities include consulting with teachers and parents, conducting psychological assessments, and contributing to program interventions. Applicants must possess a master's or doctoral degree in psychology and be eligible for membership in the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick. Anglophone South School District invites applications for the following position: Two Permanent Positions Effective Immediately School Psychologist I, 1.0 FTE
The School Psychologist will be a member of an Integrated Service Delivery Child and Youth Team within the Anglophone South School District and will be responsible to:
A master's or doctoral degree in psychology with course work and experience to meet the requirements for licensed membership in the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick. Successful completion of course work in child and adolescent development as well as child and adolescent exceptionalities are required. Experience in school psychology is desirable. The successful candidate must be capable of working both independently and in a collaborative manner with students, parents, teachers, Integrated Service Delivery, and Education Support Services Teams. Knowledge of school‑based decision‑making and policies would be an asset.
Licensed membership [or pending] in the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick.
In accordance with the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees–Professional Support Group Collective Agreement, $3,586.35 - $4,318.59 bi‑weekly.
