A healthcare provider in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a professional to deliver rapid, high-quality care in obstetrics. The candidate must have a strong background in labor and delivery, licensure, and relevant certifications. Formación
2+ years of experience in obstetrics, labor & delivery, or maternal-child health.
Active provincial license (Newfoundland preferred).
Responsabilidades
Monitor and assess pregnant patients throughout labor and delivery.
Provide support to patients and families during prenatal and postpartum stages.
Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals as needed.
Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures.
Care for newborns immediately after birth.
Manage emergencies such as preterm labor and fetal distress.
Maintain accurate patient documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Conocimientos
BLS certification
NRP certification
ACLS certification
Strong obstetrics background
