Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in obstetrics, labor & delivery, or maternal-child health.
• Active provincial license (Newfoundland preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess pregnant patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide support to patients and families during prenatal and postpartum stages.
• Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals as needed.
• Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures.
• Care for newborns immediately after birth.
• Manage emergencies such as preterm labor and fetal distress.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
