The Juris Doctor / Master of Business Administration (JD / MBA) Program is a world-leading program offered by Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. The program offers a unique combination of courses that prepare students for the demands of highly successful careers in business, law, and related fields.

1. Oversees both strategic planning and supports the day-to-day operations of the program.
2. Focuses on fostering and sustaining the wider JD / MBA community, including students, alumni, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
3. Develops and implements recruitment strategies.
4. Provides specialized academic and career advice.
5. Fosters long-term relationships with graduates and manages alumni engagement activities such as events and mentorship programs.
6. Promotes the JD / MBA program through marketing and partnerships in the legal and business sectors.
7. Supports the Osgoode Career Development Office by providing career counseling, especially in Business Law, and guides students through the New York State recruitment, licensing, and bar admissions processes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Juris Doctor (JD) and call to the bar.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge of the legal profession and considerations relevant to legal professionals and law students.
• Understanding of the JD / MBA program, including admission requirements and program specifics.
• Knowledge of career development principles and counseling for JD and MBA students.
• Awareness of business and law career opportunities and the business community.
• Understanding of the Call to the Bar process in Ontario and New York.
• Familiarity with academic environments.

• Effective communication and commitment to open, inclusive dialogue.
• Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and ability to build trust.
• Ability to clearly present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative work ethic with colleagues and external partners.
• Proficiency in counseling, group facilitation, and student referral skills.
