Police officers patrol the assigned medical center to protect lives and property, enforce laws, and prevent crime. Officers maintain visibility to establish police presence within the medical centers and other assigned areas / facilities. They respond to complaints, handle emergency calls, interview parties involved, make arrests, restrain suspects, and assist medical staff when needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of Ohio Peace Officer Training within 3 months of application.
• Ability to obtain Ohio Peace Officer certification and maintain it.
• Ability to complete annual firearms qualification.
• CPR certification upon hire.
• Knowledge of public safety laws and regulations (preferred).
• Must have no disqualifying criminal offenses.
