Job summary
A leading retail corporation is looking for a Produce Stocker in Eastern Ontario. In this role, you’ll provide excellent customer service and ensure the produce area is well-maintained and fully stocked. Responsibilities include zoning the department, rotating stock, checking for expired products, and adhering to food safety standards. The position requires applicants to be at least 16 years old, and the starting pay is $18.05, adjusted based on relevant experience. - Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adheres to cold chain compliance, temperature recording, and food handling procedures.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stocks merchandise and completes modulars.

- Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
- Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
- Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Follows proper procedures for; ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable. Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf cap.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
