Job summary
A language services company is seeking Freelance Language Interpreters for a remote position. The role involves managing on-demand calls, conveying meanings between English and other languages in various sectors including medical and legal fields. Candidates must have language proficiency in English and another language, interpretation experience, and be authorized to work in Canada. This flexible part-time position offers monthly payments based on a per-minute rate depending on experience and languages.
Qualifications
- Language proficiency in English and at least one other language.
- Interpretation experience preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- USB Wired headset.
- Windows 8+ or mac.
- Steady wired internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Manage on-demand calls and convey meaning between English and other language speakers.
- Break communication barriers in various fields including Health, Government, Legal.
- Process information quickly, concisely and accurately.
