Sr. Technical Consultant – IFS Product Engineer

Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IFS Product Engineer to support, configure, and enhance a global IFS ERP environment. The role requires deep techno-functional expertise with IFS Applications 7.5 (mandatory) and familiarity with IFS Cloud. Must be able to work CST time zone. Candidates from nearshore may be considered.
ResponsibilitiesPerform daily IFS ERP administration (IFS 7.5): user management, permissions, roles, performance tuning, troubleshooting
Manage IFS environments (Dev, Test, Prod): patching, maintenance, cloning, backup/recovery coordination
Provide L2/L3 technical support, diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, configuration, and integrations
Manage Application, Web, Print, and Database Servers; handle SSL certificate renewals, Centura, IEE, and B2E clients
Configure/customize IFS modules using standard tools: Custom Objects, Events, Menus, Profiles, Roles
Design/configure advanced Aurena pages and Lobbies in IFS Cloud
Analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications for configuration or development
Develop and maintain IFS reports and data extraction processes
Design, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between IFS and other systems (SAP, Salesforce, SailPoint)
Utilize MuleSoft for integration; develop SOAP-based services in Java and use IFS Connect/REST APIs
Monitor integration performance, data flows, system logs, background jobs, and IFS Connect transactions
Participate in IFS 7.5/Cloud installations, upgrades, patch deployments, and global rollouts
Manage localization, data migration tasks, and post-go-live support for international sites
Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and procedures
Follow IT best practices: change management, security policies, coding standards
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Reviews
Proven experience with IFS Applications 7.5 (mandatory)
Experience in IFS administration, including user and security configuration
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide L2/L3 technical support
Familiarity with IFS Cloud, Aurena page, and Lobby configuration
Experience with integration tools and technologies (MuleSoft, REST, SOAP, Java, IFS Connect)
Ability to manage servers and environments across multiple geographies
Understanding of SAFe Agile methodology and participation in Agile ceremonies
Must be able to work CST time zone
