A leading aerospace company in Ontario is seeking a SAFe Product Owner to join their Software Factory team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Product Owner role, solid experience in the Aviation industry, and be skilled in Lean-Agile principles. Responsibilities include turning business needs into User Stories and leading cross-functional teams to achieve goals, ensuring effective communication with management and stakeholders.
NAVBLUE is looking for a SAFe Product Owner (PO). The Product Owner (PO) is an integral part of the NAVBLUE North America Software Factory team.
The Product Owner is a key asset turning the business / operational needs collected with the Product Management and Software Factory into User Stories, and then working closely with the development team to get these User Stories properly implemented as per the Definition of Done objectives.
The candidate will be asked to lead by example on the deployment of Lean-Agile principles, breaking the silos, and ensuring any development fits with the overall Portfolio framework vision.
The candidate will also be active in ensuring that NAVBLUE processes are successful in bridging the gap between “by the book” recommendations and daily practices which can be more driven by business objectives.
As NAVBLUE is looking for efficiency, flexibility and focus on value, the candidate will be working closely with the development team and significantly contribute to its performance. To promote this flexibility and focus on value, the candidate must transition between functional and technical domains effectively.
NAVBLUE is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment. We welcome all applications irrespective of social and cultural background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.
NAVBLUE is, and always has been, committed to equal opportunities for all. As such, we will never ask for any type of monetary exchange in the frame of a recruitment process.
