A leading healthcare services company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage patient insurance verifications and claims processing. Responsibilities include submitting medical documentation to insurance providers and following up on claims. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management, strong Excel skills, and effective communication capabilities. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and a variety of benefits, including medical coverage and paid time off.
Remote Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST (or based on business need)
Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for verifying patient insurance and benefits, preparing and submitting claims to payers, correcting rejected claims, following up on unpaid and denied claims, posting payments, managing accounts receivable, assisting patients with payment plans, and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
Anticipated hourly range: $22.30 per hour – $32 per hour
