Our client now has a vacancy to join a well-established GP / Family Medicine practice in the thriving city of Edmonton, Alberta.

The practice has been operating since 2014 and is also a teaching practice. They are now able to take on 2 more full-time GPs to meet the high patient demand.

About the Role and Benefits:

• Working hours are typically Monday - Friday 9-5, with some weekends optional and open to negotiation.
• On-call duties are on a rotation among all doctors, one week every 7 weeks.
• Support team includes four Medical Office Assistants for rooming and charting, a Clinic Lead for minor procedures and scheduling, an Office Manager for practice setup and billing, and a Primary Care Network for BCH, Dietitian, and Nursing support.
• Visiting specialists include a Paediatrician twice a week, a General Surgeon once a week, Psychiatry twice a month, and Women's Health services two to three times a week.
• Doctors retain 75% of all billings.
• Average earnings for GPs are approximately CAD 450,000 per year.
• Additional benefits include an optional Health Benefit Plan, free parking, MOA assistance, and support for practice growth including EMR training, billing, scheduling, and licensing.
